About

Who are we?

Gregory Hills Youth Centre (GHYC) was established in 2020 in order to cater for the growing Muslim community in South West Sydney.

Our Aim

GHYC aims at pleasing Allah (SWT), The Almighty, through its intentions and actions. GHYC’s main focus is to make the centre a place where the community, in particular the youth, enjoy attending numerous lessons, educational support, sporting events & community programs.

How do we run?

The daily running of GHYC is done by a group of volunteers (brothers and sisters). Thus all teaching, administration and training is done by individuals who are sacrificing their time for Allah (SWT) and for the Muslims in Sydney, in particular the South Western Suburbs.

What do we do?

GHYC strives at providing an Islamic environment for all as well as social activities for all ages. Teaching at GHYC caters for people of all ages following the correct teaching of the Quran and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW).

What else?

GHYC also runs fun and recreational activities for the youth and children. The center provides sport facilities such as a basketball, Table Tennis, Indoor Cricket & Badminton. Field trips are run including bowling, fishing trips, camps and more. Special events are organised including Eid Salah, Iftaars during Ramadan, Princess Parties, Baking Days and Boys Nights. All these events allow our youth and children to have fun and celebrate special events within an Islamic and fun environment.

We ask Allah (SWT) to help us to do that which He loves for His sake and to make our project successful and beneficial for all. With the help of the community, we can achieve this and more In sha Allah. We also ask Allah (SWT) to accept all our deeds. Ameen.
